Sequere is an artistic project about time and memory, which begins with a symbolic act: collecting water at the mouth of the Ebro and walking upstream to return it to the source of the Segre River, the main tributary of the Ebro. The artist's gaze and his body traversing space and time, will be the instruments to activate a poetic reading of the territory: the experiences along the route and the space traversed, with its geography, its place names, its cities and its mountains, will be the trigger for an investigation on historical memory, human relations and territory.

(or how to transform water into earth and fix time in matter) 30 square meters of paintings and a site-specific installation in a tapera (abandoned farmhouse) in the town of Garzón (Uruguay) during Campo ArtFest 23: a deconstructed landscape in which I represented the territory through a combination of painting and objects (natural or artificial) typical of the Uruguayan countryside.

Dins la pell de la terra
"Dins la pell de la terra (entre cims i cavallons)" (Within the earth’s skin (between peaks and ridges) is the title of my intervention in the buildings 1-3 of the old foundry of Cal Trepat (Tárrega, Spain) for the exhibition “Un món fràgil” (A fragile world) of Embarrat 2021. The title creates a series of analogies between the furrowing of the territory through walking – by way of the body- and the furrowing of the land -of the field- by way of the plow, one of the agricultural tools produced in the factory; the annex "between peaks and ridges" introduces a second analogy relating the ridges of plowed land in a field to the ridges of the mountains, referring to the territory as a cultural and geographical unit and to the experience of walking on a journey, which is the engine of the exhibited work.

La pell de la terra (Skins)
Replacing traditional Christian iconography, these abstract paintings evoking paths, earth, and stone are configured as "post-historical altarpieces" that transform former places of worship into temples dedicated to a new and ancient sacredness – inclusive, universal, and non-denominational – placing the earth and the mountain at the center of the visitor's inner experience.
