08.12.2021 — Last Monday 6 December we enjoyed a beautiful and harmonious day, on the occasion of the presentation of my project «Lloc, lluny, llar» based on the crossing of the Grand Tour 2020. A community celebration that brought together 40 people through walking, sharing the route, food and art.

The day began with a guided visit to the works «Impossible Territories» in the group show «Fronteres. Línia de tall» at the Sala de l’Escorxador of the Museu de l’Empordà in Figueres. From there, we set off walking about twenty km towards Nau Côclea (Camallera), where Salvador Giralt’s delicious and generous paella-tarot awaited us. The second part of the event closed with the presentation and performative display of the rest of the works from the project «Lloc, lluny, llar».

The event was made possible thanks to the complicity of Nau Côclea and the Museu de l’Empordà in Figueres. The project «Lloc, lluny, llar» was funded by Nau Côclea and by the OSIC grant of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Thanks to both centres, to Clara and Salvador, to Celeste, to Eduard Bech, to Jordi Lafon for the complicity and the labour, and thanks to everyone for attending, for the affection and the support: it is a great pleasure to share the road.
