“Water Parliaments: Lands of Lleida”. Open forum. Saturday, October 26, 2024, La Panera

“Water Parliaments: Lands of Lleida” is a working day that will bring together people from different fields - farmers, scientists, activists, artists and architects - to share reflections on the challenges, solutions and desires related to water in the territory of Lleida. It is the first of several workshops to be held in Catalonia with the intention of learning directly from local experiences.

This meeting is part of “Parlaments d’aigua”, the project selected by the Institut Ramon Llull to represent Catalan culture in the 19th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, within the “Eventi Collaterali”. From the perspective of architecture, the project explores relationships of interdependence among humans, non-humans, and the water systems that sustain them, with the aim of proposing more hopeful future scenarios.
