The Amposta City Art Biennial announces the twelve works selected for the 2024 edition

From November 30, 2024 to February 2, 2025.

Bus service from Barcelona

The bus will leave Sants bus station at 15:30 and arrive at Lo Pati at 18:00. The opening starts at 19:00. The return bus will leave Lo Pati at 20:30 and arrive back at Sants bus station.

The jury of the Amposta City Art Biennial (BIAM) has chosen the twelve projects that will form part of the exhibition on view at Lo Pati - Centre d’Art de les Terres de l’Ebre from November 30, 2024 to February 2, 2025:

Adrián Martínez, HEAVY, 2024.
Anna Moreno, Il Capovolto (el cap per avall), 2024.
Tura Sanglas, Llengua paterna. Un cop de fuet fa un blau, però un cop de llengua trenca els ossos, 2022.

For this edition, 200 dossiers were evaluated and the winning work will be chosen from among the selected projects. The jury was composed of Elvira Dyangani Ose, curator and director of MACBA; Peio Aguirre, art critic and independent curator; Chus Martínez, curator and director of the Institute of Gender, Art and Nature at the FHNW Academy of Art and Design in Basel; and Aida Boix, director of Lo Pati, who served as secretary with voice but no vote. The call was open to artists of legal age residing in Spain, each of whom could submit up to three works of any theme and technique.
