Marco Noris in El Temps · Wandering as art

Photo by Eliseu T. Climent, taken during the development of the project La vora oberta.
Walking is part of his artistic practice. Marco Noris has travelled along the eastern Pyrenees border and the Segre and Ebro rivers, and on 27 March he began the descent of the Siurana river.
“He walks. He walks a lot. He walks as an act of recovering memory; it is part of his artistic exercise. He practices a portable, transversal, multidisciplinary art, closely tied to the territory. Low ecological footprint. An art of exploration, of observation, of documenting what one treads on. Marco Noris (Bergamo, 1971) is a mix of everything, where the territory and its landscapes become raw material. Marco Noris is geography.”
