Enllumenant el buit al refugi Casa Bigodé d’Envall
Yesterday, from the refugi Casa Bigodé in Envall, we presented to the residents of the Vall Fosca the first phase of the project «Enllumenant el buit», an investigation into the forgotten history of Envall that led us to reflect on lost rural memory, the future of new rural communities in the 21st century and «la llum que massa enllumena és una llum que aplana». The research was accompanied by Loida Camats Quer, who documented the process and enriched the investigation with her poetic gaze.
This research aims at the creation of an installation for the Romanesque church of Envall, currently being renovated.
The research was carried out thanks to XarxaProd, Envall Coop and the refugi Casa Bigodé. I am deeply grateful for the always enriching and essential walking talks with Celeste Reyna and for the care, availability and affection of the whole team, especially Maria and Marta, the volunteer workers, the cooperative’s members, Josep, Anna, Alba, Laura, Pepe, Feliu, Eva, Inés, Roser, Agustí, Laia and all the residents of the Pobleta and the Vall Fosca.
