My only way of inhabiting a place is not to belong to it.
It resonates with much of what runs through my work: walking as a form of knowledge that relinquishes possession, the body as provisional territory, landscape as something traversed but not claimed.
A place between what is longed for and what is impossible, that interstice where there is neither return nor arrival.
