In the summer of 2017, Noris walked the 300 kilometres of the Spanish–French border in the province of Girona, along which the main routes of the Republican exile once passed. During the journey, the artist painted one work for each of the 198 mugas that mark the border: walking and painting, joining points along the border, as if balancing on that invisible line that divides in two what is one, making the invisible visible and thus unfolding a new scenario of memory.
